FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is responsible for accidents or injuries involving the dumpster?

Once the dumpster is delivered and placed, the renter assumes full responsibility for the dumpster and its contents. We are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages involving the dumpster during the rental period, including but not limited to injuries to renters, guests, contractors, or third parties.

Can the dumpster be placed on the street, road, or alleyway?

No. Dumpsters may not be placed on public roads, streets, or alleyways. Dumpsters must be placed on private property only, such as a driveway or yard, with adequate space for delivery and pickup.

Do you offer driveway or yard protection?

Yes. We place wooden planks or boards under the dumpster to help distribute weight and reduce the risk of surface damage. While this may help minimize damage, it does not guarantee protection, and the renter remains responsible for any damage that occurs

What space is required for dumpster placement?

The renter must provide ample, clear space for delivery and pickup. This includes sufficient width, height, and turning room for our truck. Overhead obstacles such as power lines, trees, or structures must be cleared prior to delivery.

How are rental fees billed?

The base rental covers the agreed rental period only. Additional charges are billed separately, including but not limited to:

  • Waste weight (based on landfill upon dump)

  • Overweight charges (based on landfill scale tickets)

  • Extra rental days beyond the agreed term

  • Dump-and-return services

  • Additional hauls or swaps

These charges will be invoiced after the dumpster is picked up and processed.

When is payment due?

A deposit is required before or at the time of delivery of the dumpster. No dumpster will be delivered without payment arrangements in place.

When must invoices be paid?

All invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Invoices not paid within 30 days are subject to a 15% interest charge. Continued nonpayment may result in collections, legal action, and the renter being responsible for all associated costs.

Are you responsible for damage to my yard, driveway or property?

No. While reasonable care is taken during delivery and pickup, we are not responsible for damage to yards, driveways, sidewalks, concrete, asphalt, landscaping, underground utilities, or surrounding property.

Are refunds given if the dumpster is picked up early?

No. Rental fees are based on the agreed rental period and are not prorated for early pickup unless otherwise stated in writing.

Are you responsible for damage to personal property near the dumpster?

No. The renter must clear the placement area of vehicles, equipment, and personal property. We are not responsible for damage to items left in or near the delivery area.

Can legal action be taken against Dr. Dumpster for damages?

By renting a dumpster, the renter agrees to hold the company harmless from claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from the placement, use, or presence of the dumpster during the rental period.
